Paying and registering at the university can be both traumatic and daunting, especially in the early years! There's inevitably a scrable associated with getting to the Dean's office, and there's always the pesky problem of remembering which acount to pay fees into! To try and help, we've uploaded some of the basic details of the process below.
Step 1: Pay your fees
This can be done either directly at PostBank (if that is where you hold an account) or transfered via any other account you have. If you are paying in a PostBank you should fill in a form as per below, if paying from another acount simply note the IBAN number and the Acount name which you will need to make the payment. Note, you should try and make the paymnt a good few days before you wish to actually register (especially in the case of an overseas bank transfer, it is recomended that you pay five working days before you try and register, as it takes the Deans office some time to actually register the payment.

Step 2: Registration of payment
Registration of payment takes place at the Deans office (this is the little room at the end of the corridor in Machen Dom where you will have first registered at the University). There is often a que, so it's best to get in there early and ensure you have checked the opening hours for the office (usually 10:30-12:30 and 1:30-3:30 but obviously subject to change). When you go to confirm payment you should take your Kinishka (little blue book), receipt of payment and Registration form (which should have been picked up from the office or Xerox before hand).
Step 3: Registration for the year
Once you have registered for the year, you can go to the office that deals specifically with your year in order to register for the year overall, the specific office changes based on your year, so it may be best to ask around.
Registration is usually requred by the 10th/11th October (although this date changes year on year) or at least 3 days before your first exam, as you get closer to the end of the registration period, the office will get busier, as such it is worth trying to get this job done as soon as possible!
